Here at Santa's Little Helpers, Inc., we are driven by a single goal; to empower foster children. We were formed in 2017 to help meet the basic needs of foster children while providing activities and materials that promote character building.

Our mission is to help build the self-esteem and confidence of foster children by building a foundation of literacy, personal growth, and development.

Our core principles are generosity, gratitude, hard work, kindness, and respect. Our vision is to help foster children thrive while in foster care and beyond by instilling our core principles through our care packages, programs, and services.

Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making Santa's Little Helpers, Inc. an even better nonprofit organization. We offer several ways for you to participate.

1. Organize a donation drive with the people in your neighborhood, at your job, or you can host one yourself. Please email us at donate@santaslittlehelpersinc.com to schedule your donation drive today!

2. Select us as your charity at Kroger or on the NextDoor App.

3. You can donate a gently used Christmas tree between Sept. 15 and Dec. 15.

Our Impact

Santa's Little Helpers, Inc. helps Jefferson County foster children build their self-esteem and confidence by providing care packages with basic living essentials and life skills coaching.

Our care packages include educational materials, sensory tools and personal items to help foster children with literacy, personal growth, and personal development. We strive to make the holidays a special time with Christmas Care Packages for children living in residential foster care facilities. These packages include new pajamas and toys. We have donated over 2,000 care packages in the since 2017.

Our goal is to help foster children thrive and be successful during and after foster care.

CARES PROGRAM

LIFE SKILLS COACHING

This program is designed for foster children who are in need of learning, enhancing, or supporting life skills to effectively transition into adulthood. We provide group coaching sessions in four essential areas:

Education & Career
Money Management
Health & Wellness
Housing Management

SLHI Christmas Charity Pajama Party & Holiday Market

We had a great time at our pajama party in December. Our SLHI Cares Program helps foster children get basic need items. This fundraising event received over 200 pajamas and 100 stuffed animals for Christmas Care Packages! This community effort allowed us to provide 350 care to local foster care facilities and 160 pajamas to a store for foster parents to shop for their foster kids.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our cause. We would like to thank our volunteers, community partners, vendors and sponsors. We hope you all had a great time, and we hope to see you again next year!
